Claris is the Founder and the Creative Director of Couture Culture and Arts (CCA). She is a New York I-Fashion Magazine Editor. She is also the Fashion and Design Editor of SMJ Lifestyle Magazine in Canada.
Claris finished Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, cum laude, in Mindanao State University. She was also the College Leadership Awardee. She further pursued a finishing course in Business Administration at London School of Public Relations where she graduated with distinction.
Claris’ affinity to fashion was innate to her as early as her childhood. She grew up with a limited wardrobe but she always makes sure she looked her best. In her high school and university years her style has always been simple and sleek but
could catch attention. She had her signature bows or scarves that made her street wear stand out from the rest.
Claris has shown interest in organizing events early in her university years (which is evidenced by her College Leadership Award) and were carried forward to her adult life. Her more than a decade of expat life living from one country to another has given her the opportunity to serve the community by creating events and functions, including entertainment. This has exposed her as well to different cultures which she loves.
Her love of fashion and her events organizing skills lead her to establish a group which did events and fashion initiatives here in Canada since 2014. Her love of culture led her to establish a brand that honors diversity in arts, fashion, and culture. That was the start of CCA in 2016.
